Miss Aja Bliss, who we called Jellybean in all our prep emails waiting for her to arrive, sweetly arrived a couple days before her due date and came to the studio when she was 11 days old. She was absolute perfection. Sweet little features, head of dark hair and the sweetest little eyelashes. She even flashed us a few smiles, sweet girl.

Katriona is the niece of another baby I shot as a newborn just 10 months prior. In fact, Katriona’s newborn session and her uncle’s 9 month session were just a few weeks apart! I just love that story. Because of the age/relationship, we photographed Katriona in the very same basket we used to photograph her uncle.

Miss Katriona was an older baby girl and was very alert and aware of her surroundings. She made us work pretty hard, but oh my goodness… wasn’t it worth it?
