Relaxation Time

After a hard day’s work on designing my new ‘totally wicked’ blog design, my lovely bride decided to take a bubble bath. These bubbles were quite the bubbles, they just kept getting bigger, bigger and bigger. Yes, these pictures are suitable for all viewers.

How many other people out there have HTML & Adobe Lightroom books next to their tubs? Yes we are nerds and proud of it :).

Once again, thanks to my lovely bride for making a great place to show off my work to all of you. Now get back to work! :)

This is my first attempt of night shooting of cars. I played around a bit with the settings from image 1 to image 2. I kind of like the second one and you?

The Tin Rocket

This post today couldn’t be anymore perfect for two reasons. Today is my father’s birthday. Secondly, my father use to own a ’55 Chevy very similar to this one back in the day.

I couldn’t have picked a better father. He has been there for me through thick and thin. He has put up with my quirky personality for over my 37 years. Not only has he taught me everything I know about construction, he recently helped me build our gorgeous home that we live in today. He has inspired me to be a great father to my my boys as he was for me. Even though he’s a Packer fan and I’m a huge Bears fan, I’m his number one fan.

Happy Birthday Dad, I love you!

A Lovely Connection

Do you ever just get a hunch that you feel strongly about? I was passing through a part of our state earlier this week coming back from a meeting (it was a long road trip). The area I was passing through was hilly and beautiful, with a river running through with large ravines. All of a sudden, I got this hunch that there possibly would be some great bridge to photograph. So as I explored this area like Lewis and Clark, I came across this beautiful site.

This bridge is still active, however it’s one lane with a minimum weight capacity. I did not drive over this bridge but did get out to walk upon it to get some great photographs for all of you, :). I have never been one afraid of heights, but all of a sudden with the side rails looking the way they did, I had a queasy feeling in my stomach and I had to get off the bridge. My lovely bride is not a fan of bridges with any type of wood. I don’t think she would have enjoyed this site like I did, love ya babe.
