How I love summer nights in Iowa! The sun is warm, nights chill off, the water is pleasant and the light is delicious. This was the atmosphere for Savannah’s beautiful session – rescheduled after a week solid of rainouts. Absolutely worth it! We wish you a wonderful and successful future, Savannah! We know you are capable of amazing things.
While I love that the seasons change and the background is constantly different every time we do a session, I certainly would love to custom order about 100 nights exactly like Kelly’s session. Perfection! Beautiful light, beautiful weather, beautiful family. We had to reschedule for rain 3 times and I thought there might be an infant before we got great…

It’s so funny looking back and thinking at…
When you’re brand new in a big family you do a lot of sharing and get a lot of hand-me-downs. Oh, how I love hand-me-downs! But it’s so extra special for baby to get newborn photos all his own, and so sweet Lucky #7, what a joy you are to your family and what a privilege to have photographed this…
Nobody does a baby toss like Alex. One of my favorite memories from Peter’s one-year session was the baby toss. I had clearly under-estimated his baby-tossin’ abilities….
I live for sessions like this! Hot summer nights when the sun falls at the perfect degree angle for that warm, glowy light. A beautiful mama and her growing family. I could not have custom-ordered a more perfect session than Sarah and Issac’s. There’s a BABY BOY in there and I cannot wait to meet him!
